Training Requirements

DCYF supports adult educators who care for and teach young children in Washington State. Professionals are responsible for completing training specific to their role and continuous training throughout their career.

To qualify for your role, you must meet Pre-Service & Hiring Requirements that must be completed before being hired or soon after being hired. These requirements depend on the program and job role. A
